Certification: UL Listed under file number
E527867. You can verify this at
UL Product iQ — enter E527867 and confirm our listing. We encourage every buyer to check before ordering.
Why UL Certification Matters for US Importers
If you're importing LED filament bulbs into the United States or Canada, UL certification (or an equivalent NRTL listing like ETL) is not optional. Without it:
- Your shipment may be held at US customs for compliance verification
- Your Amazon listing can be flagged and removed for missing safety certification
- Retail chains and distributors will not stock uncertified electrical products
- Your liability insurance may not cover product-related claims
A warning for buyers: Many suppliers on Alibaba and 1688 claim "UL certified" but cannot provide a valid UL file number, or show a certificate that expired, or display a manufacturer name different from the one you're buying from. Always verify the UL file number yourself at UL Product iQ. ANOVEXA's file — E527867 — can be confirmed directly.

UL vs ETL vs FCC — Understanding US Compliance
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and ETL (Intertek) are both NRTLs — Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories — accepted by US OSHA. They perform the same UL 1993 safety standard testing. FCC is separate: it covers electromagnetic interference (Part 15), not product safety. Our bulbs carry UL (safety) plus FCC (EMI compliance) plus CE and RoHS for the European market.
If you're selling on Amazon.com, either UL or ETL satisfies their safety documentation requirement. If you're selling to US retail chains or electrical supply distributors, many of them specifically require UL (not just ETL) because of legacy procurement policies. We maintain UL specifically because it's the most widely recognized mark among US trade buyers.
